The RUNCAMP Relay - Easy to Understand, Fun to Play
RUNCAMP is team running, reimagined.
For 24 hours, your team takes turns running a loop of approximately 6 km, in the heart of the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud.
How does it work?
- A team of 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 runners
- Only one runner per team on the course at a time
- The relay takes place in the dedicated zone at the end of each loop
- Each completed lap is added to the team’s total
- The goal is simple: cover as much distance as possible in 24 hours
We’re also preparing additional challenges to spice up the experience.
A race that’s as much mental as it is physical
There’s no imposed strategy here. It’s up to your team to decide:
- Who runs and when
- How many loops each runner completes
- How to manage the night
- When to recover
Some teams will opt for short, fast relays.
Others will choose longer stints to maximize recovery time.
👉 At RUNCAMP, victory is built as much with collective intelligence as with strong legs.
The ranking
Teams compete on a “24h + one loop” format:
the race starts on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., and any runner who has started a final loop before Sunday at 2:00 p.m. may finish it.
Rankings are based on the number of completed loops, and in the event of a tie, on the time taken to complete them.
Teams of 4, 6, and 8 runners compete in separate categories.
In short
- Race start: Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
- Race end: 24 hours later
- Runners finish the loop they have started
- In case of a tie (same number of loops), the team that finishes first wins
